Hi Todd,
I bought a pair of your 390 drivers several months ago but have not used them yet.
The magnets seems much smaller than the magnets used on the last Altec ceramic iterations.
Please expain.

The magnets themselves are the same size and power. The difference is the pot that is on the old 288/290 series.
Currently, the large-format drivers GPA is building do not have this pot, but we hope they will shortly.
